What about the Patriots? I'd like to see what their ranking would be before they started winning Super Bowls.

Well ,this ranking goes back 10 years so there it is right infront of you.

Actually, winning the superbowls hurts your ranking if you read the article. The fact that cleveland has sucked the past 10 years and still fills the stadium really helped them.

NE would have been a better ranking before that because they sold out every game, they sucked and play in bad weather all of which help your ranking.

just FYI, new england has missed the playoffs only three of the past 10 years and only once finished with a record below .500. they also made 4 super bowl appearances.

from 1987 to 1993, they never made a playoff appearance and went a combined 36-75. along with the team being awful, so was their attendance. in 1991, they averaged less than 38,000 per game.

Right, so over the past ten years the Patriots have been arguably the best team in the league which hurts them in the loyalty rankings. Struggling teams were given more credit.

The old Foxboro stadium only held about 58,000 and it was almost always full in the 80's.
