What a wild and wooly game. It was good to see the Panthers staying after it even when the luck was going with the Ravens. Most enjoyable game I have seen in a while.

    What a game.

Sorry McNair got hurt. I stepped out of the room for the replay. I heard Draft may have hit him in the head. Regardless, he did absolutely nothing to protect himself or get rid of the ball. I think he's too old to play anymore. I thought Boller played extremely well.

I was calling for that pass on 3rd and 1. I did NOT want to give them the ball back.

Brilliant day for Jake. The one bad INT. Another INT where his arm was hit, and he may or may not have been too slow. And the overthrow of KJ on the long pass. Everything else was just about perfect. Very poised and accurate under a withering rush.

Good job by the OTs, except on the INT. That may have been Wahle being pushed back by the DE.

Very curious that Hartwig didnt play. Maybe they didnt want to bring him back against a complicated D. Maybe he's not completely healthy. Or maybe they think Hangartner is better, at least in some respects. I guess we'll see on that.

The D played so well until the end. I think the last long pass was on Marshall. The 2nd TD on a tip was poor coverage by a CB, I think. 2 something. Could have been Branch, but probably Lucas.

I'm so proud of Henning, or Fox, for realizing that we needed to be aggressive since Balt was doing their comeback thing.

    Smith is obviously much better.

Great game by Carter. That 3rd and 1 catch was very difficult, and one of the key plays in the game. The TD was very important too, obviously.

Hoover blew a block that I saw, but made another important one.

Does anyone who wonders why we don't throw to the TEs see why? We do try (occassionally), but we don't have the players.

I won't gripe about not letting Baker do all the KOs anymore. Kasay almost kicked one out of bounds too, though.

All in all, we beat a very good team on the road. Really a lot of fun.

Our secondary seems to fall off their guy if the opposing QB is scrambling a lot. Or at least it has seemed that way to me at times. Last week there were a couple times they stayed with their man VERY well, but sometimes today not so well?

needed to, and almost too late. I was very disappointed in the whole "let's run that sweep to the right 3 times" crap at the goal. When you have a chance at points, take that chance.

Yeah, would one pass have hurt? And the extra 4 pt cushion sure would have kept my blood pressure down a little bit.
