%99.967 of the time I would agree. But really this is nothing more than what Randy is saying about himself and the Raiders these days. The man is just getting high and enjoying life.

Maybe old Braylon should do something in the NFL before he does much trash talking. Gamble has been among the league leaders in interceptions two years in a row. Edwards has mostly been on IR.

Not at all, and moreover, I'm sure the coaches share the same opinion.

I guess I must be looking at it from a different angle then, because I think it's a perfect balance between athletic and theatrical performance. Face it, Collin, not all fans approach it as analytically as you do. That doesn't mean they are wrong, that just means they think differently.

It has nothing to do with being analytical, it has to do with respecting the game and not showing up other players. People who have played football tend to know this. Sometimes your emotions overcome you in the heat of the moment, especially if someone on the other team has given you reason to rub their face in it, but there's no call for stuff like this.

The NFL lost it's professionalism the year it embraced Gastineau's antics and thought "Prime Time" Sanders was good for the league...now, the NFL is all about entertainment despite it's insincere tries at muzzling the trashtalking. The culture in the NFL has changed dramatically and the powers to be in marketing it has embraced this culture. When you read Belichick's funny response to Chad Johnson's bulletin board material, you realize it's all in act and nobody takes that stuff serious anymore
