Did anyone notice anything overtly #1 pick special about him today? Its the only full game I've seen of him in the NFL (so this game may not be accurate, and I thought our D did a really good job of shutting off the run), but he looked like he has some talent, but talent not unlike our D. Williams possesses...Thoughts?

Showed more as a reciever than a back. Had that wheel route, and a nice square in. But he was indecisive out of the backfield and we did a real good job of hemming him in and tackling.

Yeah, he needs work as a runner but you can't fake the natural talent he displayed at USC. I didn't think he'd have a huge impact on this game, but if he continues to improve then he'll be a major threat down the line.

NO's line is kinda crappy, top to bottom, with exception to Brown, who didn't stand out either. Stinchcomb hasn't impressed as I figured, Nesbit's into his first season as an intended starter since 02. Faine hasn't been an ass-kicker, either.

Undoubtedly, he can be awesome in the open field. He was their leading receiver coming into the game, but hasn't broken the things that I figured he would've.

He will probably be a great player down the line. I think a lot of people have been mislead by ESPN and certain sportswriters who have been pimping him hard this year, because he hasn't been "great" by any means. DeAngelo has shown more as a runner, IMO.

Jerious Norwood had 100 yards and a TD today. *mutter*

    Moroney looks better.

NO ran the same play two or three times that had Bush float behind the LB and catch a 15 yard pass with the DBs 15 yards further down the field covering their WRs.

Not to defend Bush, but what of that top 5 does look worth it right now? Not Young. Williams had 1.5 sacks today, according to NFL.com, but that's a third of a sack a game. AJ Hawk's not a playmaker right now. I haven't watched Ferguson enough to know.
