On Davis, he looked lost. There were a couple of plays he didn't check his man or gave the receiver too much room.

Marshall got picked on all day but he plays way off his man. The cushion was at least 12-15 feet.

I was at the game but maybe you guys saw different on TV...

Davis had the one "blown' coverage in zone on the deep ball where he got picked by a receiver, or rather had to avoid the pick by the receiver. He also had a guy out of the backfield and just didn't follow the route, broke inside for some reason. Overall, not that bad at all.

Marshall struggled a little, sure. Lucas was hurt, only played some slot. I think that's a wash, honestly.

Given their experience, you can't expect much more. They played good most of the game, but they're gonna have a few break downs.

Davis I thought was decent. The pick play, ok. He backed off once on Stecker, fearing the wheel, and gave up 7, but 7 yards better than a big play. And the PI call was awful.

Marshall got picked on, but made some plays and some PDs too I believe, and didn't give up anything big. He looks like a gamer.

I thought Marshall didn't do such a bad job considering it was the first tiume he got extended play. Speaking of which how is Lucas?

I didnt think they looked too bad either. Yeah, they gave up some plays, but they made plays as well...

For the first time since the ATL game last year, I kept hearting TD's name mentioned. He had some nice tackles, at least he was active. The play to Bush couldve happened to a lot of LB's.

Marshall was decent. He did have that heady fumble recovery where he batted the ball to his direction before flopping on it.

Marshall did defect a fg and batted away a pass in the endzone.

Marshall didn't deflect the field goal, Carney just missed it.

Wasn't Marshall the guy who recovered the NO fumble. He raced in and had the presense of mind to roll the ball away from a diving Saint and then fall on it. Was a hell of a play to get that ball.

For a rook I thought he played very well. I see Gamble making just as many if not more mistakes than Marshall and some same Chris is out best CB.

I actually noticed Davis a number of times today doing good things where in the pass I don't even see him doing much of anything. From my view he's just now starting to grasp the position. He looked very good on special teams also. He also seems to be the guy they manned up on Bush a lot of the time. Only got burnt once and that was on a pick.

Someone also mentioned how far Marshall played off the ball. Tell that to the entire secondary. Seems to be a team rule. We'll give up 10 yards to anybody coming out of the backfield but we're not going to give up the big play.
