NFL teams consider anything up to 10 to be short, so you cutting it off at 5 is a bit odd, although teams do obviously include intermediate distance between 10 and 15 or perhaps 10 and 20, then count deep as beyond that. As for mistakes, yes they did but remember that they were also making these notations live, while we have the benefit of pausing and rewinding.
Again, NFL teams do, but I guess you can define it however best suits your argument.
The QB doesn't deserve as much credit for yards gained after the catch, especially when those catches are not made on the move. The credit goes to the receiver. That's how you differentiate between Brunell getting 74 yards on a shovel pass and Plummer hitting Walker deep.
Dude, I'm not saying you can't have that opinion. You're free to believe that he had a "good game" just as other people are free to believe that Weinke would be better. You're both wrong, though.

Are you kidding? Does "leap" mean something different to you than to everyone else on the face of the planet? Some routes are designed to be thrown high, like the fade, but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about passes like the one to Steve Smith with 13:00 left in the game where he just ran a simple 10 yard in and was wide ass open, but Jake threw it so high that Steve had to gather himself and leap into the air to get it. That prevented him from being able to get extra yardage after the catch.
No. Cover two is actually more more exposed deep than short, especially with the Tampa 2. Our Cover 3, by contrast, is much tougher to throw deep on while we tend to give up a lot of area underneath. But in any case, I'm not criticizing Jake for throwing short. I'm criticizing certain people for not realizing that he was throwing short often, and that it would obviously affect his completion percentage. Mark Brunell would not have set an NFL record if he had been attempting almost all short passes, or if Houston actually woke up enough to flood the short zones.

Dude, you really are humiliating yourself every time you post. Don't you understand that people think you're a fool because you couldn't grasp how mechanics are independent of Steve Smith? Even DaveW laughed at you, and he can't stand me either. You are the one who is a joke, and it keeps being funny because you still haven't realized it.
I've never said I've been correct about everything, and in fact, I've been more open and honest about my mistakes than anyone. I always own up to them, but because you're so small-minded and moronic, that's the only accusation you can actually think to hurl at me. And as for my love life, if you're married and your wife isn't an ass-faced hag, let me meet her and see if she doesn't leave you for me (then I'll dump her of course).
"If wishes were fishes..." and all that. You wish I was wrong often, but the truth is that people who can't stand me still laugh at you because you are so mind-numbingly stupid.
"Nobody will every take your serious?" What the fuck kind of language is that? And for the record, dipshit, when I say I've "proved" something, it's because I actually have. I, after all, am the one who will actually go through and post pictures or make a specific count from rewatching the game. I'm the one who offers facts that prove people such as yourself wrong. Deal with it.

As I've said elsewhere, the first fumble was more on Gross, but the second was definitely Jake's fault with that stupid double pump fake.

Damn, dude. You missed a whole quarter of this game putting that together.

On a high note, D-Hall is hurt. Whoever did that to him deserves some sort of game ball.

I figured this was coming, but no, I'm basing it on the passing tree.

would seem a bit of a waste, yes

Certainly helps the Saints. And the Falcons' D is suddenly a lot less talented. Calf?
