Schotty Jr managed Mark Sanchez to consecutive AFC Championship starts. Pretty remarkable in hindsight. Even back then, an awful quarterback usual sabotaged an entire season.

He also kept a Rams offense functional with a series of backup QBs and Jeff Fisher punting on every 4th and 1. Russell Wilson had his best seasons under Schotty Jr. The guy is good, it's not a punchline anymore.

That might be the most gutsy un cowboys like performance since Parcells switched to romo. You mightve been right on Lil schotty

Also he probably started half assing it when Penn state turned him down. He took the carolina job perfectly timed to give him no time to rebuild his rep for his dream job.

I don't know it he kept the scam going before. Snow is there but doesn't have much authority and he seems like the only guy rhule knows that can coach worth a damn.

Rhule is young enough that after Nebraska runs it's course, he will still rake in tens of millions over the next 15-20 years of his career selling his bullshit That part is infuriating. He'll start back at a lower level and become a "let's give him another look" guy.

    LOL:

"We’re horrendous in situational football- redzone and key situations such as gaining appropriate yards on 1st and converting 3rd and 4th downs at an average level"

You guys should have done some research on his last job before giving him the EIGHT YEAR CONTRACT.

Arguably emphasis on pass rush grew and so we needed more rules to protect qbs...

Increasingly convinced that the rules emphasis after the panthers/pats bullied the eagles/colts was basically the beginning of the end. Made passing way overpowered via the refs.
