I saw a blurb in PFT, stating that the Cards would trade Anthony Clement for a turd, I mean third round draft pick

The number of OL in the league that I know anything about is roughly equal to the number of toes I have. But if this guy is any good at all, DO THE DEAL.

    Please!

He's got a big contract. It may not be possible. And he's slow footed, I think. And he'll be a FA next year, maybe.

What I find most interesting about him is that - if I read his profile right - he started at left tackle for Louisiana-Lafayette protecting Jake Delhomme. He also went to high school in Breaux Bridge, though not the same high school as Jake.

Doesn't necessarily mean anything, but it's interesting.

He'd have no trouble understanding Jake in the huddle.

If he can play maybe having another Bojangles eater on the team would make him sign cheaper

A third round pick for help now! I think that is a pretty good trade!

So why is he available? I hate trading draft picks so he'd better be pretty good, and not just better than what we have. I mean actually good, by reasonable standards.
