    I remember when Stan Olson was always on the Charlotte.com boards. Why does Laye never post anywhere? Even Gary Williams will check in during the season.

    He's around, but he won't post. He's smarter than me, apparently. He won't subject himself to all the abuse.

    That's clever Mike.

    Did you come up with that all by yourself, or did that crack staff of alleged sports writers you work with brainstorm in between the contriving of blockbuster stories like Notre Dame going to the ACC?

    I don’t think anyone has a problem with Laye. I wish he was a more of a homer sometimes, but in general he does a good job with his pieces. Too bad he doesn’t get the opportunity to write more of them…

    I understand that it is the same sorry staff since I dropped my subscription, except that Ron Green Sr. retired. Apparently he is so senile that he thinks he still works there and continues to write.

    I guess his inability to strike an emotion in any reader is genetic because I hear his son is a talentless blowhard also. Congradulations, the Green tradition of boring readers to death with inaccuracies and poor writng will live on.
    I am certain he was hired on his own credentials and abillities, so everything should work out for you on that one.:rolleyes:

    It woulld take a gun to my head to get me to subscibe to your paper, and even then it might be a coin toss.
