    O'brian has to go. He knew if he lost this game he loses his job. He gambled with sitting on it and lost.He could have thrown it three times and at least tried for a field goal. Bad coaching.

    No, but they didn't have much of a choice because of the field position. Trying to kick it out of bounds would have risked Carolina only needing ~20 yards to kick a winning field goal.
