    I remember there were some annoying gameplay flaws, but it was definitely catching up with Madden and the presentation was otherworldly at that particular time.

    The one step drop was annoying. But yea, overall it kicked ass.

    Some gameplay features were innovative, to be fair. I remember it being the first football video game where I could throw an endzone lob. That was cool as fuck. It was also the first game I remember having the option to shadow the opponents best WR with your best CB. The big draw back of that game was pretty bad computer AI. I think the Dolphins kept making it to the Super Bowl for no particular reason.
