Taylor King transfering?

Radio show said he's not happy and may be trying to transfer to UCLA.

 

From another board :

"It was reported by Mychal Thompson & Sonny Vaccaro on the "Loose Cannon Show" out in LA that King wasn't very happy with his playing time at Duke and wants to come back home."

 

If he's not happy with his playing time, he should play better. He's not very good (undersized forward), so if he wants to go, he should go. Especially if dook's drive and kick out offense is going to continue. He will never play much in that kind of offense.
Dook would be better off without him.

 

Nothing about it on TDD premium.....so doubt its truthful......he always seemed happy and supportive of his teammates.......Shavlik and McRob were never that way.....

 

Most of the info, has been out west, a few of the UCLA forums are posting it. But yes, just a rumor at this point.

 

Well if he we playing the Small Forward position instead of having to play Power Forward it'd help him some, but yeah he didn't do a lot. You've also got to think he'd improve SOME over 4 years though.

 

He should have played more during ACC play, but the reason he didn't play was because of not so good defense. He was pretty much a stand still shooter and his jump shot wasn't falling (either hit a wall and got tired, which I don't know how cause he played about 10 minutes a game.) for one reason or another from mid January on. If he's concerned about his play then the last place he'd want to go is UCLA with the recruiting class they have coming in.

 

Yeah, to be honest, I couldn't see them wasting a scholly on him at this point, but who knows. He really needs to improve others parts of his game, because he is no JJ, so isn't gonna be able to get away with having no other parts to his game.

 

I hope he doesn't go. He sucks and is taking up a scholly.
