STOP GIVING UP EXPLOSIVE PLAYS

STOP IT.

 

The most 20+ yard plays given up over the last three years.




Stop doing that.

 

We're giving up too many big plays, and we're not getting enough stops in the redzone. Takeaways have been hit or miss, and that's the area that people seem fixated on, but it's not been a huge problem overall (league rankings 7th, 16th, and 18th).



Identify the things that are keeping you from winning, and then stop doing those things.




On the deep balls, start creating better habits. I don't know why our corners aren't turning back to play the ball more often. It's a bad habit. Create better habits.





Also, Addison hasn't lived up to his contract. He's a solid player, but we kept him around to be that ace blindside rusher. He hasn't been. 1/2 sack over the last 7 games (we're 0-7). It's not good enough. We need a #1 rusher.
