Baltimore apparently wants him and could probably pay him enough. The Vikes wight want him but they are probably too cheap not to insult his agent with a low-ball offer. I really feel like the Eagles might get him. They can and will pay the man and they would be appealing to Moose since they are post season material for years to come

Don't worry. Someone will overpay him.

I'd rather it be someone else overpaying than us

It will be someone else, or should be anyway. Y'all are just gonna have to go get another WR.

I know he's gone and can appreciate not overpaying. I'll be curious to see what he gets and probably really relieved its not us paying what he'll get.

    Worst case scenarios?

He goes to the falcons and he helps them beat us for a few more years running

    OR

He goes to the Iggles and he helps them eliminate us from the playoffs next year

    OR

he goes to the pats and wins a few rings while we miss the next few post seasons

I'd rather us not overpay for Smitty.
    But we are.
I'd rather us not overpay for Delhomme.
    But we are.
I'd rather us not overpay for Minter.
    But we are.
I'd rather us not overpay for our defensive line.
    But we are.
I'd rather us not overpay for Kasay.
    But we are.
I'd rather us not overpay for Sauerbrun.
    But we are.
I'd rather us not overpay for Kyle.
    But we are.

And I'm glad we have the above players. But we've made some poor money decisions in the Fox era, and that's costing us.

sounds like a good reason not to overpay for someone else
