    Well, I saw Shrek 3 and it was a dud. I'm depressed because after the first 2 great efforts, this was nothing more than a outright disappointment. Very few laughs and just nothing to remember.

    I've never seen #2 because that's exactly what I thought of the 1st.

    I thought it was pretty good but not in the same league as #1 and #2. 1 is by far the best and 2 was still real good. This one was not as good. The best part of the whole movie was when The pigs roll out on to the stage and yell "SAUSAGE ROLL!"

    This was a truly awful movie. Not one really big laugh the entire time.
    Save your money.

    I enjoyed the movie. While I'll fully admit its not as good as 1 & 2. It was a decent flick. I think the problem is its being judged against two superior predecessors. Based on its on merits its entertaining. People are saying it "sucks". It doesn't suck its just not as good as the first 2.

    When Prince CHarming was destroying Far Far Away they were playing Joke & The Thief by Wolfmother which is a great song, but it was just weird being in Shrek

    No, the best part was the Queen knocking herself woozy on the second headbutt to the wall and humming "My Favorite Things"

    I have to agree however, that is was only OK. 2 was my favorite by far.

    Wow - just saw this. #1 is insanely good, #2 was strong but far from #1, #3 is just rental trash - it has some funny moments, but plenty of missed opportunities that just screamed for better writing (when the gingerbread man tells the king he'll be nothing but the king of idiots...what a wasted line).

    But the gingerbread man, scared to death, dropping a gumdrop poop, that was gold.
