I really do worry about the day that we actually have to start replacing him and DeAngelo and some of the older skill position guys. Gettleman seems way out of his league when it comes to offense (or he just doesn't give a shit).

Also, I heard Rivera talking about working Barner "back into the mix" this week and instantly got acid reflux. Apparently we're sticking with that horrible idea indefinitely.

Maybe all of those sacks he's taken has changed his approach. He seems to be settling nicely into that Game Manager bracket.

Sucking up to the new boss, we also have years of him sticking up for Armanti.

Fox defying Hurney towards to end of his tenure here was some funny shit. Nothing gives your GM the finger like starting a 30 year old practice squad QB over a draft pick.

This is also a gam where no name Brian Quick blows up against us. Or unknown RB Zack Stacy.

For all that I ridicule "PASSION!!!," that's the part that will be hardest to replace when Steve loses his edge and eventually retires. On-field he's a great example to the younger guys on the team. I would also be less worried about replacing his production if Cam was better at identifying the best receiving option instead of mostly staring down his primary read. Oh, and isn't LaFell a free agent after this season? I'm not sure if he's RFA or UFA.

Unlike some, I always admit to being wrong when I actually am, and have done so on this board rather publicly on multiple occasions. I'm just not wrong very often.
