Good hire. Hope he hires someone who knows defense because they damn sure dont play defense out west. On a side note, 3 coaches got raises because Alabama came calling. 3 got raises 2 years ago also.

He'll be gone in less than 3 years.

If he is, it will be because he is a total idiot. Got a good nucleus already there. Got a little leeway because of probation. He will still be expected to win 6 or 7 the next 3 years. His job to lose.

He's not bringing his staff with him.

    From the Seattle Times...
A WSU source told the Times that defensive coordinator Bill Doba will be named as the team’s new permanent head coach tomorrow with defensive line coach Robb Akey moving up to defensive coordinator and Mike Levenseller staying on as offensive coordinator.

The 62-year-old Doba has been at WSU since 1989 serving as defensive coordinator since 1994. He has never been a head coach at the college level, serving 12 years as a high school head coach at three different schools in Indiana before entering college coaching.
