    I don't think Shaq has been a problem. He got burned badly today, but that wasn't his fault because you can't ask any LB to cover a WR that far downfield. Either the coverage was poorly designed or the safety wasn't in the right position to help. Luke's frustration likely stems from blockers getting upfield and engaging him far more often than he would like. Some of that is on the defensive line for failing to clog things up and some of that is on Kuechly for being more indecisive than usual. Plus it has to feel bad to watch the secondary shit the bed on play after play. The run defense has actually been great, ranking fourth in yards allowed per attempt.

    This team feels a lot like that '04 team that started 1-7. I still remember how shocking that felt after the high of the previous year.
