Didn't get to watch game. Do the Rams really suck or did the Niners really improve

Case Keenum is not an NFL quarterback and the Rams have a horrible interior offensive line, but I would advise everyone to take San Francisco's defensive ends very seriously. Those guys are big and long and difficult to move.

The same is said of Gabbert.

Rams O Line isn't bad. Gurley's season last year is a testament to their ability.

49ers do not use DE's in their 3-4 scheme. They use OLB's (Eli Harold, Ahmad Brooks). Are you referring to the two gapping DT's Deforest Buckner and Arik Armstead?

49ers are immensely improved. I am not sure we have the talent and experience to beat Carolina just yet. I would, however, like to see a good and close game with few mistakes.

Navarro Bowman is the best ILB in football.

I'd put Bowman in the top 5. Certainly not the best though. Not even 2nd or 3rd best. 4 or 5 sounds about right. He benefits from a good line as well. Which so does most of the best to a degree.
