    So they play 5 acc teams a year when they join but I guess not eligible for title. I wonder if their NBC deal expires soon? Not that the ACC has year in and year out big teams but hopefully they have to pla Va tech and FsU occassionally. Cowherd made a joke how notre dame was made for tha acc in that neither side can win a meaningful game in December or January

    I think I heard somewhere that NBC was going to offer them another 1 yr. contract. :blahblah1: I can't remember who said that or how whoever it was knew that. I'll shut up now. :42:

    I think the NBC contract runs through 2015.

    NBC deal runs thru 2014 at 12-15 mil per. NBC will renew at approximately 18-20 from what I heard on ESPN. Since ACC just signed for 15 years I doubt Notre Dame ever comes in full time for a while

    They've just announced they're dropping Michigan from their schedule in a couple of years. Yet another long time rivalry bites the dust in the quest for big bucks.

    I'm tired of the bit by bit realignment. Just go to 8 conferences with 16 teams each and get it over with already.

    Notre Dame hasn't been playing Michigan as long as it has Michigan State and Purdue. Someone had to be dropped.

    The first game between the two was in 1887.

    The first game with Michigan State was in 1897.

    The first game with Purdue was in 1896.
