Minter, Mitchell

Is there room for these two now? Two cheap re-signs with these guys and bringing back Fields would be all I can realistically ask for now, but I'm kinda concerned that we're going to pay for these signings.

Yes. And there's more than ample room for both.

But they're also easy cuts, capwise, and I'm concerned. Not to mention with Fields. Just want them all back again - can't lose anymore leadership.

 

Add Wahle and cut Mitchell sounds like a wash to me. We do not get any better under that scenerio. We must bring Mitchell back. I think we could replace Minter if we needed to. Strong safeties who are good in run support but only adequate in coverage are not that hard to find.

 

Yeah, I'd say Mike is in more danger than Jeff is.

 

maybe the 6mil we just got from re-structuring peppers is aimed at these 2 + fields.

 

Like Muhammad, it wouldn't cost cap room to re-sign Minter or Mitchell because they have high cap numbers.
