Mike Mayock's Great Analysis: Episode One

"Davis Webb's got a live arm. He drops it in the bucket. Moves well enough, quick release, big arm. He's one of the five quarterbacks where you can make a case in this draft that they can start a game in the NFL and be a quarterback."

 

He likes to hear himself talk. He says a lot. I'm not sure how much he really says, but I trust a lot of his analysis.

I can definitely listen to him longer than Kiper.

 

I used to like Mayock, but this draft season I haven't heard him say one thing that impressed me and I've heard him say multiple stupid things that annoyed me. I wonder if NFL Network has him doing so many appearances that he doesn't have as much time to study as he used to.

 

I haven't been watching except tuning in during the panther picks and seeing his "top 5" at each position crawls.

I did happen to have him on when he said what B&B posted when Webb was drafted last night. I thought it sounded kinda funny actually.

But Webb's footage they showed made him look good.

I think Steve Smith did great.

 

If I hear another person on tv say, tale of the tape or thumper, I`m going to eat some cheese crackers.
