My experiences at the games have been pretty positive. Most fans I interact with are older redneck dudes. A large majority of the hipster culture crowd are sucking down IPA’s at their NoDa establishment of choice.

I try not to overthink all that peripheral shit. It’s a business trip.

Are you saying it reeks of liberal snobbery?

I was simply asking what you meant.

'Older"' can be a wide range and 'rednecks' encompass a wide range of types of people - according to different people.

I don't get offended, around my parts being called an older redneck is a compliment.

A 40 yo is older to some and 60 is younger to some.

Nascar rednecks <> southren country boys always

    Christ, you don't like questions?

So do you believe me now? I guess I really wasn't that crazy, and I knew what I was talking about.

Lack of tailgating is a big contributor, and those other fan bases were formed back when you could take your kid to a game and not be out a couple hundred bucks BEFORE concessions eats you up. I've owned PSLs since the day they went on sale, and it was much more affordable and family friendly in the 90s, when I took my older son to all the games. Now I take my younger son, and it's way more expensive than it used to be--and not as much fun.

I don't usually drink soda, and try and limit my sugar intake. This year at two games I bought a bottomless soda and kept refilling it with diet pepsi because water costs $4.00 and the drinking fountains weren't working. Someone at BofA has their head up their ass.

Raiders are a cool choice I think. I've liked them ever since they beat the Eagles in 1980, and was a fan for a while after they rolled the Redskins a few years later.
