    The Panthers won, they beat a so-so crappy team at home.

    No, our "fanbase" is still fucking atrocious. The last game I went to, I was in a section of Giants fans. I still have serious, serious personal grievances with this city and it's so called fanbase, which has absolutely nothing to do with the on-field performance of the team.

    The number of Panther fans that simply don’t care anymore because of the National Anthem protest has been underestimated. IMO

    No, I don't buy that for a second. I was at a game during a lost season before all of that happened, the Saints had the same shitty record as the Panthers, and the stadium was at least 50% Saints fans. This is a lukewarm sports town with a dysfunctional government. It would be in Tepper's best interest to move the team outside of the Charlotte city limits.

    As long as the team is profitable I don`t think Tepper really cares. Tickets are sold and seats are filled.

    I'm not sure that Tepper doesn't care or isn't aware of the termites in the city. The "One Carolina" thing seems like a very carefully crafted persuasion play.
