Can anybody find out what his record is in, say, his last five coaching appearances. Dukie V keeps pumping how tough he is come tourney time. I don't remember him winning much lately.

Before the Knight lickers reply, yes, I know he's won 3 titles (I think). I just don't think he's been too impressive lately. Hell, I wore size 32 Levis twelve years ago.

Here is Indiana's record in NCAA play since 1995:

1995- lost in first round to Missouri
1996- lost in first round to BC
1997- lost to Colorado in first round
1998- beat OK in first round, lost to UConn in 2nd
1999- beat GW in first rounf, lost to St. John's in 2nd
2000- lost to Pepperdine in first round
2001- lost to Kent in first round (This may have been Davis' first year, not sure when he left.

In 2002, Texas Tech lost to South Ill in the first round (not sure if this Knight, but I think it is)

What does this mean? Not a damn thing, but don't be afraid of a team because it's coached by Bobby Knight.

Well, it does mean that Dukie V doesn't do much homework, but we all know that.

Yes, the first round exit to Southern Illinois was Knight's first year here. It should be noted, though, that we were picked to finish 11th in the Big XII (We had finished 11th the previous year), and ended up with a 20-win season. Let's all hope that Knight isn't one and done this time!!!! ;)

    :D

SIU hasn't been a bad team lately. I'm glad the 49ers are done with them right now.

On a related note, does anyone remember us complaining about "sorry" teams Colorado and Louisiana-Layfayette in Charlotte last season? Turns out those 2 teams improved a great deal this season, just like the 49ers did.

the Pepperdine loss was Knight's last game at IU, and it was, coincidentally, in Buffalo.
