looks sweet. i hope the co-op multiplayer supports more than 4 players. i love that kind of strategic shooter, but 4 players is a bit limiting in a lan party environment.

i got the latest rainbow 6 demo to see what its multiplayer co-op is like and it was just 4 players. rainbow six supports a squad of four players. wtf?

hmm... i think i played it a bit, but the multiplayer didn't work for me so i gave up.

normally, i just play with my brother-in-law so 2 players is even fine. but for larger groups, the 4 player cap on many games is just bogus.

we've been playing "conflict global storm" lately. very nice tactical shooter.

i do the 8 man terrorist hunt, not the 8v8....

 

terrorist hunt? is that a special mode? i presume it's humans vs ai. is it effectively the campaign or is it more of a humans vs bots kind of thing?

i've played some rainbow 6 on the xbox w/ split screen and it was a blast. ghost recon, too (two?). crappy graphics, but nice gameplay.

the gameplay as far as ammo and maps depend on what ever server your on.


the humans 8 vs. 8 is just to damn hard...

the 8 v 8 is human vs human, right? you play online and get stomped by 12 year olds? i've played a little battlefield 2 and honestly, i don't much enjoy playing against humans. too many people with too much time on their hands to devote to humiliating folks who are casual gamers. that's why i'm a fan of co-op gameplay. and really, i don't like anonymous online gameplay, either. too hard to find people of the same vibe.

 

yeah co-op is just more relaxed
