    ½ FINALS

    Serbia

France scored a massive upset over the 2014 FIBA World Cup host, Spain, to take one step closer to the championship, and perhaps eliminate the one team who could have challenged the Americans. Standing in France’s way is Serbia, who are hungry to avenge their razor-thin loss to the French in the group stage.

If Serbia wants to enjoy the same success they had in the first matchup, they’ll need to limit Diaw’s production again. Serbia will also need to force France to take outside jumpers. The French are one of the tournament’s worst at converting three pointers, having gone 49 of 155 thus far.

No Tony Parker? No problem. Thomas Heurtel gladly took the reins as France ousted the highly favored Spain from the tournament on Wednesday. Heurtel scored nine of his 13 points in the final frame and also finished with four assists. In the meantime, Boris Diaw exploded to lead France with 15 points (nine coming from beyond the arc), while Nicolas Batum had a block to go along with his nine points and four assists. France is looking like a far better team than the one dominated by Spain 88-64 in the group stage. They’ll face one final hurdle before a potential matchup with the tournament favorites, USA, in the final.

Hello everyone congratulations to France for being 3rd place to FIBA World Cup 2014 with a final score of 93- 95.however tomorrow is the final matches between USA vs Serbia

The closest any team has come to beating Team USA at the FIBA World Cup was Turkey back in the group stage, where the Americans by five at the half and ended up winning by “only” 21 points.
Serbia has the talent and system to keep it about that close. Maybe. Here some previews of both teams, for more updates visit

    USA
USA (8-0) has led an absolutely charmed existence so far in Spain. Placed in a fairly weak Group B, the Americans blitzed through the competition in four out of their five first-round games and dismissed a nice effort from Turkey before things truly got interesting. In the knockout stage, USA manhandled Mexico and Slovenia before dominating Lithuania 98-68 in the semifinals. All told, none of USA's eight opponents has succeeded in keeping the final margin within 20 points.

USA brings a different level of athleticism to the party. Kyrie Irving will start on Teodosic and he can be disruptive. Then when Teodosic comes around the pick he will see the long arms of Anthony Davis, who can shut off the drive and still recover to the rolling Raduljica (and you can expect weak-side help from the energetic Kenneth Faried there). When Irving gets a break the USA rolls in Derrick Rose — who has moved well and played good defense this tournament even as his shot has not fallen — and they also play Stephen Curry at the point. Basically Teodosic is going to have to play about 35 strong minutes while Mike Krzyzewski keeps rolling in fresh, more athletic guards to throw at him. Serbia
For Serbia’s puncher’s chance to land a whole lot of things have to go right. That will start with their star point guard Milos Teodosic (who spurned the Grizzlies to stay at CSKA Moscow) who must have a monster game. Teodosic is a quality pick-and-roll point guard who can both shoot it (14.1 points a game at 55.2 percent shooting) or find the open man if the defense lapses.

Serbia’s offense often consists of a pick-and-roll out top between Teodosic and Miroslav Raduljica (who sat on the Bucks bench last season) with shooters spacing the floor everywhere, such as the Suns’ 27th pick from the last draft Bogdan Bogdanovic or former NBA player Nenad Krstic. Raduljica just sets the screen and rolls hard to the rim. It’s a good system, one that Greece, Brazil and France have not been able to figure out in the knockout rounds as all of those world powers fell to Serbia.

Pick - Serbia (+21.00) In ordinary bet ill go for Team USA, but in base of handicap ill go for Team Serbia it has (+21) points in favor of Serbia. My pick is for bettor's only
    Odds - 2.00
    Stakes - 10/10

Have a nice betting day everyone :)
