Evil Dead

I pretty much gave up on scary movies a long time ago, but I had heard good things about this and thought I'd give it a try.

What a pile of crap.

Little character development. Hardly a plot. Let's just try and gross people out by having possessed people do crazy gross things to themselves. Ridiculous.

I'm going to go watch a real movie, ARMY OF DARKNESS, and then walk around for a week quoting it to random people.

 

Quote it to me and you'll get a dumbfounded look of confusion because I stay away from horror flicks.

 

I love every horror flick that comes down the pike for the most part. Any ahole looking for Casablanca in any horror movie needs to lower their expectations. I mean, its a horror movie right? It ain't supposed to be real or serious or whatever.

I don't love these remakes though, so I do agree a little.

 

horror movies nowadays are mostly psychological thrillers. they dont have horror element as much as they have a surprise element.
