    State fans are a loyal bunch, to a fault sometimes. I do not think, however, there are many State fans that were thrilled when O'Brien didn't replace Mike Archer. If the defense doesn't play better next year things will start getting shaky for O'Brien.

    Same thing with UNC's offense. What's that saying: Those that don't learn from their mistakes are doomed to repeat them! I don't have alot of faith in either John Sloop or TJ Yates. If Davis doesn't make some changes, we could have a repeat of this past season.

    A lot are warming up to him. The only drawback was that he was associated with John Thompson. But really, he was smart enough to quit after 1 year with Thompson. It took ECU 2 years to see the writing on the wall. I see that as a plus.

    He is a great recruiter and can put together a great staff. He might not have been the best OC (we dont know because Logan left us bare as far as talent and he got his orders from the worst ECU HC hire in history) but he has proven he can be the head man. Hell, MTSU looked better against Southern Miss than ECU did this year.

    I dont know who it will be but I will support them and think Holland will make a good decision.
