Concrete / brick foundation and deck

    here's why

    again.........
    plans are to later make the deck into an enclosed sunroom w/ heating and A/C. trying to kill 2 birds w/ a single stone now. enjoy an outside deck now and later make the same space into an enclosed sunroom. I am on a slope and don't want to haul in fill dirt beneath a concrete slab deck / patio.

    The purpose of a crawl space is so that you can run HVAC, water lines & power under the floor instead of in the attic. It also allows any gases that vent from the ground to escape with out going thru the room above. Is this what you wanted to know?

    yes, that's what I have in mind for a sunroom to be constructed in the future on top of the "deck".
