I don't think there's any overnight fix. This team isn't very good, and you can't turn a ho into a housewife. Might help if 28 gets it cranked up. We've still gotten the big plays from 34.

I'm ok with a running WCO. I'd like to see us use more pro set.

nobody uses split backs anymore. It's bizarre. The only time you ever see any back behind the tackle is in 'gun sets.
Ugh. I read the other day someone suggesting the pistol is what would save us. Christ.

I mean, we're doing some things different, trying to make things happen. Goodson, Rosario have stepped up to a point to fill the underneath void. It's a matter of consistency and confidence, not flash, IMO. We aren't doing anything well. Which still falls on the OC, and I don't think there's any way that guy is back next year at this point, even if we won the rest of our games. IMO, that worked well for 3 years and he fixed what Henning couldn't, the running game consistently worked here until nothing did. Now we have to find someone who can do two things at one fucking time and create balance.

"I feel like from what we saw on tape last year — and I know it was limited, I know what we saw on tape was limited — but he’s really grown as a player, fewer turnovers more opportunities for punts and maybe a field goal here or there" Gase said, via ESPN.com. “And what we’re trying to put together right now, he was a great fit for that room.... I felt like he’d be perfect for what we were trying to do offensively.”

So we don't have the dumbest OC in the league... interesting.

I wonder why he didn't get any of those head coaching jobs he interviewed for.
