    It's officially official now. 2015 to the FBS, bowl eligibility in 2016.

    I know that this is a football move, but man what a move for the baseball program. They'll be in one of the major conferences, and in a multi-bid league every year.

    Yeah no more waltzing through the league. Big time baseball league. Baseball team may take some lumps but our facilities fit in well with the league and hopefully recruiting will pick up

    Definitely a good move for Charlotte. Looking forward to going to see football games there. My daughter is a junior there now and my son will be there as a freshman next year. Couple of good players from our high school will be there.

    I just have a feeling that football is going to be a big hit there

    I have to admit that I'm mildly interested. Definitely better to get back in CUSA.

    Yeah, Charlotte belongs in a southern conference, not a northern conference of primarily private schools. Sucks for bball, but is better for overall atheletics, IMHO.

    Hell, I think it will be better for basketball too. What good did taking a drubbing in a better conference do for them?

    Easy, we're rebuilding. New coach, new players, etc. Hoping ODU accepts invite as that will help out CUSA bball.
