Yes, if the actuary data does in fact bear that out, I'd like to see the statistics, then they should. Men already pay higher rates than women and its not like sex discrimination is any less protected than race.

Whoosh, you totally miss the point. Probably because you are border line illiterate.

sounds like you're dealing with the wrong insurance company. I've had one major claim (the fucking dog broke the water pipe on the toilet while we were out and flooded the basement) and a couple minor accidents (no fault collision and hit a deer). I wasn't dropped and my homeowners and auto rates stayed the same. try shopping around for better insurance before you just assume every company is the same. holy fucking shit.

....hey gridpal, after Hurricane fran we lost insurance on 14 houses....AFTER those idiots paid to make them better. Explain that logic.

Insurance is the modern day mafia raking the little man.

Take regulation, deregulation and the entire insurance commission, and put them on a boat with the IRS, Obamas health plan and the NBA, and lets see who wants to save them!!!

Its cool to be a jerk, and I'm getting better everyday.

I just dropped everything BUT liability on my '94 Buick.
So with 2 vehicles now with just good liability coverage I only pay $35 a month~!
I asked my agent about collision coverage and that my car now is worth so little that say if it is valued at 1K on the high side with 500 deductible I would get 500 dollars.
Heck you can't get even a small scratch fixed for that. And IF they found out the car is only worth 750 then take 500 off and I would get 250 in my pocket NOT WORTH paying 13 bucks Extra a month for that!
So really it all boils down to How Much your vehicle is worth, or what the insurance company THINKS it is worth, whether or not one drops collision. And what is your deductible?? also has to be in the mix.
