    But, what would the ailment have to do with stealing, etc., unless they were an, e.g., kleptomaniac?

    Some people need that stuff because of an actual physical problem. It is not always just someone being sad and using a drug to feel better. Some people can not feel better regardless of the circumstances. With that being said I would bet there are a lot who use it just to avoid dealing with the real circumstances that are causing the problem.

    Yeah Lots Of Drugs

    I was diagnosed as bi-polar in 1998. They tried Lithium...wrong. It just made me even more angry, every little thing pissed me off. Then Depakote 1800 mg's a day, again not good. Too many to count. In 2005 I found a new shrink & he put me on Seroquel,along w/ other meds for panic & anxiety disorder & Concerta for adult adhd. He rediagnosed me as bi-polar manic depressive with psycotic tendensies. Then he put me on Seroquel XR. If I go a week of my meds I start hearing voices telling me to kill people. I also have MS & take meds & injections for that.

    I loaded gun to the temple and a quick pull of the trigger would have helped more.

    This thread is seriously depressing... so what did people do before all of these drug peddling doctors and their prescriptions??? Honestly I equate these anti-depressants with the death of my brother. They didn't help him at all, just made him a dull version of himself.
