Went off the Effexor I was on several months ago. It was the only anti-depressant that ever worked for me after trying several that gave me all kinds of weird and unpleasant side effects. But, I wanted to see if I could live without it, so I dosed down, then quit. Tough, tough withdrawal. Dizziness, ringing in the ears, black spots in my eyes, tired all the time. Still felt out of sorts after about a month after the withdrawal, but figured the worst of it was over. It's been 6 months now, and the withdrawal is long gone, but I've been depressed almost every day since. When I was on the Effexor, I can't remember EVER feeling down for more than a day or 2 out of the month. I can't even get a happy drunk once in a while now, and that used to NEVER be a problem.

So anyway, fuck it, ************. I started back on it today, and probably will continue to take it until I die. I'd rather be chemically happy for the rest of my life than chemical free and chronically depressed forever. Fuck it. Did I say fuck it? :N1IneeddrugsHL4:

I'm with ya, Silver. If I go off Wellbutrin and Zoloft, I go into non-stop panic mode. I refuse to live that way anymore.

I'm not against depressed people. Have a shot of Johnnie Walker.

I used Paxil for three years and couldn't tell when I stopped. Shit's smooth.
