Moses - not good with numbers.

 

I have a question and would like some thoughts.

For those of you who believe in Original Sin from Adam and Eve:

Would mankind have fallen into sin if only Eve had eaten the apple but Adam declined?

I've been pondering this myself in terms of spiritual authority.

 

Would be a good question for God.

 

In order for the promise of salvation to be fulfilled in the new testiment, man would have to be predisposed to sinfulness. If Adam were to eschew Eve and not partake of the fruit then the need for Christ would not be as great or clear. If only part of humanity were to be sinful it could be argued that they would not be in need of Christ therefore causing much abiguity and confusion.

 

Cain, in the garden? But yeah, there were apparently other people in other lands. It makes me kind of curious if these people were spawned from Lilith who was originally Adam's wife and cast out of Eden before Eve existed. Of course, this would still bring us back to the whole where did the other people come from..apart from Apes.

 

On the sixth day God created all races. These people were hunters, fishers, etc.
On the seventh day God rested.
On the eight day God created Adam and Eve because he wanted someone to till the ground and care for plants, etc.

Adam and Eve first two born were Cain and Able. Cain was the son of Satan and Able the son of Adam. Cain was later cast out of garden and he became the builder of cities, etc.

Seth was the son of Adam and Eve and was in the linage of Jesus.
