    To be fair this is what happens with every team. They're mostly mediocre for the first twenty years, and nobody really gives a shit, but then they hit a nice run and people start piling on.

    And we're all bandwagon'rs to an extent. Generally I buy more merchandise when the team is winning. There were times from '09-'12 when I started to check out emotionally. There were a few Sundays during the depressing 2010 season where I slept through the first half of games (even thought I was among the minority who didn't want us to lose on purpose). I did the fan version of fucking around on the side when I "co-cheered" for the Texans in 2011. There's an ebb and flow to everything in life.
