What's really impressive - and different - about the Colts now is how good they are in the trenches. Their offensive line is literally knocking people over, and their defensive line has waves of talented rushers. It's like they flipped a switch and became a completely different franchise.

Colt came into the game and ran for 5 yards then threw a touchdown pass on the next play. He’ll be fine. They’ve been winning despite Alex Smith.

The injuries to the offensive line is another story. The Skins have 3 O lineman out for the rest of the season. Trent Williams hasnt played the last 3 games but might play Thursday.

 

I think the frailty of Mariota is going to be his downfall.

 

Agreesome. Chicago is surprisingly solid. Somebody is gonna have to put pressure on Brees, or they are gonna truck everybody.

I see very few who can keep up with them in shootouts in the NFC. The rams just don't quite have it.

 

Weird how many of you are saying that the Skins are finished because Alex Smith is out for the season. Quite fucking priceless, actually.

My hunch is that his career is likely over. Anyone recall Joe Theisman after his leg break? Did he ever come back?

 

Skins simply can't compete with NO, LAR or Chic - especially without Smith (really with him healthy anyway).

No, there are just different circles of hell. Alex Smith sucks, but Colt McCoy can't throw a pass longer than 20 yards.
