McCarthy's scheme is dreadful. Geoff Schwartz was commenting on how archaic the passing offense is. They do nothing in terms of using motion to help get receivers open, which is the real reason why Aaron Rodgers holds the ball forever.

You could start making a case that Rodgers actually has an obligation to throw McCarthy under the bus. They're wasting a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be a dynasty. The only reason he hasn't been fired is because Aaron has mostly been a class act about it.

 

Mccarthy reminds me of my hs football coach who rarely talked in public because he appeared stupid and couldn't spend 5 mins without a chaw in his mouth, taught health class with movies and had a secure job living off our two years of state champions/runners up.

However, then wanting more money and prestige, went to our most hated rival after I graduated and took only three years to get fired winning only a game or two.

He really looked and talked just like him.

 

He also wants a fan prosecuted for throwing beer on him. So there’s that.

 

That look on his face after the game summed it up. He looked like a fat kid who got a pretty girl to say hi to him. He's a scrub who ought to be coaching quarterbacks at Kansas State.
