    I've radically changed my approach to the anthem controversy without changing any of my beliefs. I still believe it's a shallow, silly movement based on nothing but revisionist history. The question is how to deal with it. Yelling at these people just throws more gas on the fire. It's the wrong tactic.


    I started threads about Kaepernick and Reid way back in the spring, so I'm not one of these Homers who summarily changed his mind just because one of them is now in a Panthers uniform.

    The disconnect between real life and internet life is pretty striking.



    Outrage does not beat outrage. I've spent a lot of time trying to find the best strategy for this. It's hard. I get it. It's really, really hard sometimes.
