Who is that dude?

Guy is a genetic freak. 6'6-7", 300+, and very muscular, no fat. Jacked, huge arms, very long arms, huge forearms. I just assumed he was a Panther I didn't know and that I would find him on the roster. No luck, he's not on the roster. He looks like the greatest DE ever to walk this earth.

Could be a former player living in the area. Or the biggest bodybuilder in the Charlotte area? Only clue that might be helpful was that he had on Maryland athletics shorts.

Any ideas?

Didn't take a pic of the guy. He was shopping and I figured I would find him on the roster.

Oh well, I'll be back to the same place next weekend and I'll ask someone who works there who he is.

Trust me, if you've ever seen this guy, he would make an impression. I've seen plenty of D1, D2 and professional football players, but this guy was on another level as far as being a physical speciman.

Think LaRon Landry but morphed to 6'7" and 300.

It was probably noted waste of NFL roster space Bruce campbell.

 

Nailed it. Just looked him up and that was the Dude. I watched a combine video of him and he ran a 4.85 40. When I saw the length of his arms, I thought OT, but I've never seen an OT built that well. That's why I guessed DE instead. Looks like he was three years in the NFL and has been playing in Canada ever since.

Based on the photos and videos I saw of him, he is now bigger and even more muscular.

Just curious, why did he wash out in the NFL?

 

Because he was awful at playing football.

 

Don't know if he has the personality for it, but there are movie parts for guys like him in Hollywood. Looked more like a typical OLineman in the few pics I saw of him with the Panthers. Had a bit of a gut. Looks more like a pro wrestler/bodybuilder now.
