    I'm a fan of his decision to skip the HOF. It's become a joke of a ceremony. Good for him. It's fun watching the snobby voters in the media short circuit over this.

    TO what a career, what a character. Skips enshrinement, not regretting voting for him just wish I could've gotten to interview him in exchange for a glowing article on how much he has changed. Will he give speech in his driveway? Not sure.

    If you're going to gate the hall of fame based on how much people suck up to you (after their career mind you) you're not being a steward of the the history of the game you're being a petty dick on a power trip.

    Yep. The reaction of the voters is the most offputting part. Snobby, sanctimonious asswipes. The HOF is a popularity contest - a glorified Pro Bowl for people who no longer matter. All of these writers act like they're The Order of Maesters. It's pretty gross.
